Margaret is a freelance graphic designer and journalist based in Los Angeles. She writes about design, sex tech, and digital culture and has contributed to Wired, Bitch Media, Gusher Magazine, Future of Sex, Communication Arts, Adobe XD, and AIGA's Eye on Design.
She has worked for a range of cultural and commercial clients including the immersive entertainment company Meow Wolf and USC’s World Building Media Lab and most recently for Common Field, a national network of independent visual arts organizations that connects and advocates for the artist-centered field.
Margaret’s interest in bioethics and emerging technologies formed the basis for her thesis, which used transhumanism as a metaphor to explore how design and technology can evolve traditional print journalism through interdisciplinary storytelling.
